Virtual fencing for farms

The fence you can’t see.

Draw your pasture on your phone. Our smart collar gently keeps your animals inside — no posts, no wire, no daily checks.

How it works

Three steps. That’s it.

1

Attach the collar

Each animal wears a small, tough GPS device. It’s light, weather-proof, and the battery lasts for months.

2

Draw your pasture

Open the app and draw the area where your herd should graze. Change it anytime, from anywhere.

3

The herd stays in

When an animal walks near the edge, the collar plays a gentle sound. Animals quickly learn to turn back.

Try it: move the pasture

Tap the button — the fence moves, the herd follows.

From space tech to your farm.

Our French-Swiss team spent years building satellite IoT systems. Today we put that experience to work for farmers — every device is designed, tested and proven in real fields, on real farms. We also run innovation projects on direct-to-satellite connectivity (NB-IoT NTN) for places with no mobile coverage.

Common questions

How does it work without a physical fence?

Each animal wears a small GPS collar. You draw your pasture in the app, and when an animal walks close to the boundary, the collar plays a warning sound. Most animals learn to turn back within a few days.

Is it safe for cattle, sheep and goats?

Yes. The system puts animal welfare first: gentle sound cues, no physical barriers, and real-time alerts if an animal needs attention. It works for cattle, sheep and goats.

Does it work where there is no mobile coverage?

The standard device uses the regular mobile network. For high pastures and valleys without coverage, we offer a satellite option (NB-IoT NTN).

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on your herd size and your needs. Contact us at contact@nrc.solutions and we will send you an offer.

Where does NRC operate?

We are a French-Swiss team based around Lake Geneva, with field projects across Europe and beyond. Get in touch to discuss a pilot on your farm.
